Norra Djurgaardsstaden, together with Loevholmen and Jaerva, has been designated as the city of Stockholm's new environmental profile areas. This means that the high ambitions and knowledge from Hammarby Sjoestad will be managed and further developed. Norra Djurgaardsstaden is being built as an environmentally friendly district with an inner-city character and exciting architecture. The proximity to both the Exploitation Office's large projects, the open water of Lilla Vaertan, the National City Park and the inner city create unique opportunities and qualities for the area.
