A charging aggregate combines the charging station and the energy storage and integrates them into a single unit. It recognizes the fact that the charging station is not charging all the time and utlizes the time for charging the battery instead with power supply from the grid. In this way you are able to unload the energy from the battery energy storage at a high speed into the electric vehicles and machineries. You are able to provision the power supply from the grid much lower. Therefore the existing power connection with the grid do not need to be upgraded therefore saving investment for the owner of the charging station.
The charging aggregate is in the form of a container. It is free of installation with strong protective enclosure and good mobility. It is easier to move around with a fork lift or a crane, and gives strong protection against any possible collision.

The EMS needs to configure the AC and DC buses so that whenever the charging stations are not connected, the grid is available to charge the battery. As soon as the charging stations are connected for charging, the grid should be prioritized to allocate resources for the charging stations, instead of charging the battery. In this way the charging stations are guaranteed with the power from the grid. There are other factors such as the electricity price variation from the grid so that the battery should be charged when the electricity price is low at night and the battery should be charging when electricity is expensive at peak time.

The charging aggregate model c200/200 has a battery storage capacity of 209kwh, 2 DC charging outlets with total rated power 200kw. An AC charging station can be integrated as an option upon request. The power supply from the grid is recommended to be at least 30kw.
