The pulse jet filter cartridge dust cleaner consists of a filter cartridge as a filter element and a pulse jet for self-cleaning. The filter element can remove fine non-fibrous dust. Compared with traditional dust removal equipment, the machine has small volume, large filtration area, high dust removal efficiency, low pressure loss and reliable operation, and long life and other advantages. It is widely used in dust treatment and recycling of machinery processing, casting, chemical, ceramics, brake material processing, dusting and other industries as well as purification of welding fumes.

Working mechanism

When the dust-containing gas enters the dust-removing device, the airflow speed is slowed down, and the coarse particles are separated from the airflow and settled into the dust collecting chamber. The fine dust is blocked from the outer surface of the filter cartridge as the airflow passes through the filter cartridge, and the clean gas is discharged from the air outlet; When the surface ash layer is thick, the pulse controller gives an instruction to open the injection valve, and the compressed air in the air bag is ejected at a high speed through the blowing pipe, and simultaneously induces the surrounding air which is several times the amount of the injected gas to enter the filter cartridge, and is quickly ejected from the inside to the outside. The dust on the outer surface of the filter cartridge is blown into the dust collecting chamber, and finally discharged by the ash hopper.

Self cleaning of filter cartridge

The cleaning of the filter cartridge is achieved by a blowing device controlled by a pulse controller. When the unit has operated for a period of time, fine dust is adsorbed on the surface of the filter material, so that the permeability of the filter material is lowered. The pulse controller emits a signal at regular intervals to control the electron magnetic valve, and clean compressed air is ejected from the valve port. The fine dust adsorbed on the surface of the filter material is removed by the air flow and falls in the dust collecting bucket at the lower part of the chamber body. Pulse injection requires 0.4 to 0.6 MPa of clean compressed air, and a continuous and constant supply of air must be maintained during operation.

Main characteristics:

  • The filter material is used for folding and pleating. The arrangement density is large. The dust collector is compact in structure, small in volume, and the filter material has high toughness.

  • The height of the filter cartridge is small, the installation is convenient,      and the maintenance work is small.

  • The filter area of the same volume dust collector is relatively large, the      filtering wind speed is small, and the resistance is not large.

  • The filter material is tightly sealed at both ends, there is no air leakage, and the sealing effect is good.

PTFE filter cartridge

The filter element used in the system is a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) polyester coated filter cartridge, which is a high-tech product whose microporous structure can be mechanically stretched under special conditions without any change to the original features. The pore size of the microfiltration membrane can be controlled at 0.2-0.3 μm, and the filtration method belongs to membrane surface filtration. The surface of the film is smooth and has excellent chemical stability, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, no aging and water repellency. The dust trapped on the surface of the membrane is easily peeled off during filtration, and the amount of ventilation can be maintained at the same level for a long time.

Since the membrane filter cartridge uses its smooth and non-stick surface to retain dust, this feature can not only save the compressed air volume of the pulse cleaning system, but also avoid the wear of the dust on the film base fabric and prolong the service life of the filter cartridge. At the same time, it provides the lowest and smooth pressure drop difference for the equipment. The membrane-type filter cartridge has a large area, small volume, reduced energy loss, increased flow rate, and extended maintenance-free time.
